Making a difference in the Community
Outstanding Women Award & Scholarship
Since 1980, the SCCW has selected women and young women from the community who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of women and girls. Awards include a scholarship for students looking to take a step further in their impact.
Community Partnerships
SCCW partners with other organizations in the community, participating in and sponsoring events designed to advance the status of women and girls. We've sponsored films, live performances, marches, awareness and other events with sister organizations to promote their missions.
Annual Meetings
The SCCW holds annual membership meetings to reconnect, inform and grow the organization. 2016 examined the rewards of mentoring girls in juvenile hall. 2017 included a discussion of women serving in elected office. 2018 brought a panel presentation on women in the military.
